Good Health & Well-Being

Advancing Community Health, Wellness, and Preventive Care

KSV places health and well-being at the heart of its institutional ethos. Aligned with SDG 3, the University ensures that students, staff, and the local community have access to preventive, promotive, and curative healthcare services. Through strong collaborations with healthcare institutions, government departments, and NGOs, KSV promotes a holistic and inclusive approach to physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

The University conducts consistent community outreach programmes covering hygiene, nutrition, family welfare, menstrual health, sports and fitness, mental health, and healthy lifestyles. Its Health Centre, well-equipped with essential services and first-aid support, caters to immediate health needs on campus.

A major strength of KSV lies in its robust Mental Health and Well-being Department, active since the COVID-19 pandemic, offering free counselling, psychotherapy, awareness sessions, and wellness education for both students and staff. Complementing this, KSV maintains a strictly enforced smoke-free campus, reflecting its commitment to preventive public health.
