Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya is a University established vide Gujarat State Government Act 21 of 2007 in May 2007 and approved by UGC
( ref F. 9-18/2008 (cpp-1) March 19,2009 )
The University has been established by Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal to achieve the following objectives:
To provide need-based education and develop courses of contemporary relevance.
To be a University of excellence by providing research-based activities which would foster higher economic growth.
To provide education to all irrespective of caste, creed, religion etc.
The University has at present 19 Constituent Colleges/Departments at Gandhinagar and Kadi.
SVKM Trust
Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavani Mandal (SVKM) was established in 1919 by the philanthropist Pujya Chhaganbha. His guiding principle, “કર ભલા, હોગા ભલા” (Do good, and good will come), has driven the trust’s growth in education. What began with just six students has now expanded to educating more than 54,000 students across various schools and colleges in Kadi and Gandhinagar.
Sarva Vidyalaya Kelavni Mandal, with over 105 years of history, is one of India’s oldest educational trusts. It operates schools across different levels and offers a wide range of programs, including CBSE and GSEB schools, as well as undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral studies in fields such as engineering, sciences, management, arts, and healthcare.
Guided by core principles of innovation, entrepreneurship, academic rigor, and the humanities, SVKM focuses on fostering holistic development for students, faculty, and society.

A Message from Our President
Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal, a Public Charitable Trust has been established in the year 1919 with the Principle of “KAR BHALA HOGA BHALA” as preached by the founder Pujya Chhaganbha. The trust has been in the forefront of providing quality education since inception. With only 6 students, the trust commenced providing education in the Parched North Gujarat Area and had branches across North Gujarat at places like Kadi, Visnagar, Vadnagar, Balol, Gandhinagar etc.
With the objective of providing education to one and all the trust has been managing various schools right from Pre Primary Level to Primary to Secondary to Higher Secondary level both in Gujarati Medium and English Medium. In addition to the schools the trust also manages a University i.e., Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya and also other colleges.
Optimism, tradition, inclusiveness, service, compassion, tolerance, hope and faithfulness are the underpinnings of Sarva Vidyalaya Kelvani Mandal for over decades now.
It is in this context, we have taken a step forward aspiring towards excellence with this school enhancing the already laid foundation of our education on human values. We seek to instil in our students a passion for learning that will bring the knowledge and understanding they will need not only to be global ready but also to make a positive contribution to the communities in which we live and work.
Our mission continues to drive our growth and progress, building on strong foundations of relationships amongst the students, parents and the Sarva Vidhyalaya Kelvani Mandal Education is the most important tool to uplift our human values.
