  6. Students with any ATKT or backlog in previous semesters are not eligible for the Merit Scholarship, even if they have topped the class.
  7. The Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of the student in the previous semester will be used to determine eligibility.
    • For example, a student studying in the 3rd semester will be evaluated based on the CPI obtained in Semesters I and II.
    • If two students have the same CPI, the scholarship will be decided based on attendance in the previous semester or, in case of a tie, the Graduation/12th/10th performance, whichever is applicable.
  8. A student on merit who has also been admitted under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme will receive a fixed scholarship of ₹1,500 only.
  9. If a student has already been granted a Full Fee Waiver, they are not eligible for the Merit Scholarship. However, if the tuition fee waiver is partial, the scholarship amount will be the actual fee paid minus the fee waived, or 50% of the tuition fee, whichever is lower.

    • If a girl tops the course, then a boy can become eligible if his CPI is within a 5% difference, i.e., in case a girl scores 75%, the boy must not have scored below 70%. If the difference exceeds this limit, the next girl in merit will receive the scholarship (subject to eligibility).
    • If a boy tops the course, then a girl can become eligible if her CPI is within a 10% difference, i.e., in case a boy scores 75%, the girl must not have scored below 65%. If the difference exceeds this limit, the next boy in merit will receive the scholarship (subject to eligibility).
  2. In case of any dispute regarding scholarship eligibility or award, the decision of the Honourable President, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya, shall be final and binding.

3. Means-Based Scholarship (Adi Mahesh Seva Scheme)

3.1 To ensure inclusivity and provide financial aid to students from economically weaker backgrounds, KSV facilitates assistance through the Adi Mahesh Seva Scheme, a private initiative.

  • Eligibility is determined based on annual household income and verification documents.
  • The support is primarily aimed at students whose family income is below ₹2,50,000 per annum.
  • The scheme ensures that no deserving student is deprived of education due to financial hardship.

3.2 Further to the above, Kadi Sarva Vishwavidyalaya also provides for Means based scholarships upto 100% of the Tution Fee depending upon the verification of the applicants’ credentials by internal methods.

4. Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS)

  • This scheme is primarily intended for students from economically weaker sections or other special categories as per institutional policy.
  • Students availing of this Full Fee Waiver are not eligible for the Merit Scholarship.
  • If the student is under TFWS and is also on the merit list, a token scholarship amount of ₹1,500 may be awarded as a recognition of academic performance.

5. General Provisions

  • Scholarships are reviewed annually based on academic performance and conduct.
  • Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the student maintaining eligibility conditions.
  • The University reserves the right to amend, modify, or withdraw the scholarship policy at any time without prior notice.
